What is Assistive Technology?

Assistive technology is equipment that is designed to make you more independent in your day to day life. This can include things like wheelchairs, walkers, specialised seating, shower chairs, beds, ramps and rails.

Assistive technology can also be sensory equipment. This is equipment designed to stimulate your sense of touch, smell, sight, taste, hearing, movement and balance. Stimulating these senses can be a great help when learning and in regards to self regulation.

Our goal is to work with you to find you products that build cognitive and motor skills, capture the imagination and help adults and kids alike adapt to new sensations.

How Can We Assist You?

At I Can Jump Puddles, assistive technology can be prescribed by one of our therapists using your NDIS funding.

We work with you to determine what assistive technology will suit your needs and goals. We can complete a trial and write out a justification or a letter to support the purchase.
