What is I Can Ride?
Want your child to zoom around on two wheels? Look no further than I Can Ride!
This fun program, held at your local primary school, provides a safe and supportive environment for children to learn to ride a bike (or scooter, wheelchair, trike, walker, or road racer!). Over 2 sessions, your child will:
- Develop gross motor skills for confident riding
- Learn basic road safety rules
- Gain bike maintenance and safety check skills
- Practice following instructions and taking turns
- Discover the joys of teamwork and riding with friends
The first two sessions take place at the school, with the final session culminating in a celebratory neighbourhood ride! Don’t forget – the weekend in between offers a perfect opportunity for extra practice (with a big smile, of course!)
