Behaviour Support

I Can Jump Puddles has a team of specialist practitioners who can work with NDIS participants of any age requiring Behaviour Support.

Our approach

We will work with your family and therapists to broaden their understanding of your needs and the best ways to work with you.

Our practitioners are able to assist with developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBS), and can work with your support network to ensure strategies are carried out carefully and successfully across all your day-to-day activities.

We aim to enhance the capacity of the participant through their normal daily life – by building the skills, knowledge, and confidence of people already in the participant’s support network.

We can also monitor restrictive practices, develop strategies to remove them, initiate skill development plans to further build on the person’s capacity

What is Positive Behaviour Support?

Positive Behaviour Support is an evidence-based, data driven intervention. It relies on a person-centred framework for providing support to a participant and their support networks where there is a behaviour of concern or a risk of behaviours of concern.

We aim to assist participants and their support networks build their capacity in order to improve their quality of life, whilst building skills and minimising behaviours of concern.
