We meet Dot, one of our wonderful Support Coordinators. Dot is available in Northern Adelaide.

I am a mum of two, who are both adults aged 26 and 27. I have been known as the local ‘Master Chef’ as I enjoy cooking and showing my love for my family through food. I have two King Charles Cavaliers who are very precious and love their walks and food. My husband and I enjoy fine food and exploring new restaurants in SA. I enjoy anything creative and often will pick up second-hand bargains and give them a new life with a coat of paint.

I have worked in the Disability Industry for over 10 years and have a Diploma in Community Services (Case Management). Previously I have worked in Management in the Disability Employment Services sector and have a strong background in building relationships with clients and support services. I enjoy learning about people and am extremely passionate about seeing individuals explore their dreams.

I have lived experience with disability through myself and my 26 year old son. I find it challenging and rewarding assisting people to uncover their hidden abilities to meet their identified goals. I find it rewarding connecting individuals to supports to live their lives to the fullest. My interest areas are of Complex health needs and upholding individual’s choice and control and assisting clients to navigate the NDIS to get the most out of their plan.

I was looking to join an organisation with solid values, transparency with person centred services.  I Can Jump Puddles certainly holds these values with integrity and takes time to ensure that clients have a positive experience every time. ICJP has strong organisational values that enable individuals to gain coordination of their plan in an ethical and honest way. I am really excited to be joining the team.
